Good morning to the friends of Iris X Readings! I shuffled the cards, and asked for a reading for someone that will see this post. Please share so that the person that this reading is meant for is sure to see it! This week's reading was done on The Santa Muerte Tarot: Book of the Dead.
This week begins with the 5 of Cups, and if this reading is for you- you are dealing with a serious loss in your life. It's not easy to navigate, and as the card shows, you might find yourself feeling like you are stuck in your head, not really sure which way to go. The solution to your freedom is in your mind, but it will take some work to get there. You feel like you need time to think, but you just end up walking in circles when you do.
The 3 of Cups appears next, the card of friendship. This image shows skeletons toasting together, getting through times of challenge. You are getting stuck in your head by spending time alone, but it may be hard to be with people when you are feeling so upset. This said, it might be just what you need to break out of your own head. You have good people in your life, if you are able to let them in.
The Fool wraps up the week with a new beginning. You are at the beginning of a new journey and adventure, but you haven't quite realized it yet. Things are about to shift and change and you are going to be on a new path. You have a new life to begin, but you are not there yet. You are still in the place of sadness and loss; and the bridge to get to this place of beginnings is the card of friendship. Lean on the people in your life until you find your way. Remember that the Fool never quite knows where he is going, and still finds his way.
The key is the 4 of Pentacles. You are not supposed to know what to do yet. You are just arranging things now, coming up with a plan. You pick up one puzzle piece at a time, and build your new life. You don't have to move fast. You can choose to spend time with people or not. What you have to do right now is to build your future, one step at a time. If you need people to do this, then call in your friends. If you need space to think, then make sure that you get time to yourself.
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you are going through a major loss. You feel like you don't know which way to go or what to do next. When you try to focus on it, you walk in circles, just getting more and more stuck. You have people in your life that can help, but it's important that you do things one step at a time. You know you are at a place of new beginnings, but you don't have any idea what that is going to look like. It is important to not push yourself too hard right now- it may be that you have to figure it out one step at a time. What we know for sure is that you have a new adventure to plan. Talk to your friends if you need to, be alone if you want the space- just know that this is not the time to get stuck. The Fool can go anywhere at all- he represents all potential.
