Iris X Reading of the Week/Week beginning on 5/5/25:

This week's reading was done on The Universal Folk Tarot by Anita Inverarity. I had followed this artist for quite some time and really love her art style. When she created a Tarot deck, I couldn't wait to get it! As a Tarot deck co-creator /author myself, I think it's important to support artists when it comes to Tarot. You walk away with the most unique decks. I like to support what I would like to see continue. I shuffled the cards and asked for a reading for someone who will see this post. I never know who the reading is for until I post it. Check it out and see if it's for you or someone that you know!

The reading begins with a messenger. The Page of Cups is known as the Tea leaf reader in this deck, and she holds a cup of tea, offering to read your fortune. This Page tends to be an emotional one who speaks from the heart. The card that I pulled as the message is The Hanged Man. If this is your reading, you feel like you are stuck in an upside-down position. This is a card which indicates a pause. You are at a crossroads, trying to figure out which direction to take next. Your world has been turned on its head, and you are trying to think outside the box to make the best choice that you can at the crossroads that you are at.

The Fool appears next showing a new beginning. This card breaks the spell of The Hanged Man and puts you in a position where you are on a new adventure and quite excited. You may have to do something 'foolish' to get there- there may be a big change to make that may seem risky. With this card, the new way to walk is enchanted and exciting. You will have a great deal to learn along the way.

The Three of Wands appears next, known as Fortune and Favor in this deck. This is a card of putting your thoughts and ideas out into the world to see what the reaction is. You have something that you have been pondering for a while, and now is the time to release it into the winds and see what the world thinks of your plan. You have been holding an idea close to you that you have to put out into the world.

The key to this reading is the Ace of Pentacles, known as The Investor in this deck. This is the card of opportunity, and it tends to be focused on the realm of work, money and success. The Aces are all cards that foreshadow success if you work well with them. It seems like there is a way to either increase your income and/or find a new line of work. If an opportuity presents itself- take it. But only if it's an Ace. It should look like a really good path for you to take.

Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you have been feeling stuck or held back for a while. It seems like everything around you is upside down, and it's hard to determine the best direction to walk in. It looks like there is something that you have been considering as an idea which may cause you to make a change in your life. It may seem 'foolish' to others, but it is something that would be a very positive path for you to follow. You have been thinking about this for a long time, and now it is time to put your idea out into the world and see what the response is. You have an opportunity to bring your thoughts from a place of ideas to manifestation. The Ace shows that there is a way in the practical world to make your idea come to life. It looks like you may have to share your idea with others- but if you do, I think you will be successful and prosperious. This will provide you with the financial opportunity to make your ideas materialize. It can be hard to take something that you have been thinking about and put it out into the world- but it's your path to success.
