This week's reading was done on The Hush Tarot by Jeremy Hush. He describes his deck as a world along the hedges and edges. This is a deck that is not very well known- and I tend to like them the best. I like the dark aesthetic of this deck and the unique imagery. I shuffled the cards and asked for a reading for someone who will see this post. This reading is for a person who is in a difficult situation and feels stuck. Read on and see if it is for you or someone that you know.
The reading begins with the VII of Swords. This is the card of the thief in Tarot. If this is your reading, there is something that is unfair or dishonest happening in your life. Your energy is being drained by a person or a situation. This is a card of manipulation and deception. There is someone who doesn't have your best interests at heart, and they are trying to take something away from you. It could be your energy or time- but either way it is time to distance yourself.
The next card that appears is the V of Pentacles. You are exhausted and depressed. You have been carrying far too much weight for a long time. You are still moving forward in your life, but you feel like every step is difficult. You feel like you are stuck in a loop and barely getting through every day. There are people who can help, but you don't even know what to ask for. You are on your feet, but you feel tired every day.
The VIII of Wands comes up next and shows something coming down to you. Quite some time ago, you set out to manifest some goals. There has probably been a time delay which has made you worry that what you want is not going to happen. Don't give up- there is something that is about to happen that is positive- something that you have wanted. The VIII of Wands often brings what you need down to you right when you need it. There may be messages, phone calls, or opportunities. Pay attention.
The key to this reading is The Hanged Man. Life has felt upside down and you are not sure which end is up. This is a card of suspension and looking at things from a different perspective. There is a change that is coming up in your life, and you have been holding it back. You have been feeling like you are stuck in an in-between. You know that transition is coming; you can feel it. But you don't know what it is or what to do. It is important to flip things around and look outside of the box. There may be something that you are forgetting or not seeing.
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, there is something that has been causing you harm. You are exhausted and still moving forward. You feel like you are stuck and there is no way to get out. But there is an opportunity coming up for you that will change your circumstances. It is something that you have been hoping for. Right now, you feel like you don't know what to do to get out of the situation that is draining you. But there is something that you have forgotten about. Right now, the key is to be the Hanged Man for now. Wait and watch. Look outside of the box and see if you can see a different way forward. The cards are telling you to wait and see. Sometimes when you least expect it, something works out. Keep your focus clear and pay attention. So that when the opportunity appears, you see it. With the V of Pentacles you may be stuck in a pattern of thinking that is making it hard to see opportunities when they come up. You have been looking down and trudging along. Start looking up- something is about to change.
