Good Morning and Happy Moon day to the friends of Iris X Readings! Every week, I shuffle the cards and ask for a reading for someone who will come across this post. This week's reading was done on The Hush Tarot, an enchanting Tarot deck created by Jeremy Hush.
When a week begins with the High Priestess, you can be sure that it will be an important one. The High Priestess is the gatekeeper of the Tarot deck. There is a shift to happen- on the other side of the gate, your life will look different. The High Priestess is a card of deep meditation and silence. It is about staying centered between the dark and light, not getting pulled to extremes. Pay attention to the signs around you that will tell you about the path that you are about to walk. Shut out the outside world and chatter, and listen to yourself. The High Priestess is about knowing without knowing. The question becomes- what do you know?
The V of Cups comes up next, and shows that the gate that you pass through is one of sadness and pain. You are hurt; stuck and not really sure how to move forward. This is the card of heartache, loss and grief. It can't be rushed, you just have to be with it. You are feeling that everything is lost, but that is not the case. You are not alone. But something that you considered to be of great importance in your life has fallen you apart, leaving you to feel sad, confused and alone.
The VI of Swords wraps up the week with a card of feeling like you want to run away. You are in a position where you have to leave something that is causing you harm, and move onto something that is emotionally more safe for you. You feel like you are in the in between, leaving something in the past without knowing where you are going yet. Right now, the most important thing is to get away. You feel like you are running away, and this bothers you. But you can't stay where you are.
The key to the week is The Hermit. Without a doubt, the person that this reading is for is really struggling. The Hermit suggests treating the situation that you are in as a vision quest. To wander with questions and seek signs for answers. To read books that inspire you and to be in places where you feel at peace. The Hermit is not about getting to a destination, it is about the walk that you take to get there. This suggests looking at the situation differently, seeing it as a spiritual quest to walk through.
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you are really struggling. Right at the center of this reading is heartbreak. But it begins with the Gatekeeper of Tarot and ends with the Wanderer. You are walking away from something and you don't really know where you are going next. Not knowing is causing you a great deal of upset, and you feel like you don't even know where to put your feet down right now. You feel like the ground is shifting beneath your feet. What else can you do but keep moving? If you are hurting and feeling like you don't know what to do, you may find that you can understand your life better if you are in motion. The High Priestess opens the door and the Hermit takes you for a walk. Pay attention to all that you see, and understand that you are not as alone as you feel. Walk through the forest, talk to the trees, listen for the birds and follow your intuition. You feel like you are in a place of loss, but really- this is a time of finding your power.
If you need a reading this week, send a message to email@example.com. Have a great week, and if this is your reading, get off the computer and go take a walk. It will be good for your Soul.
