Iris X Reading of the Week/Week beginning on 6/22/26
Happy day after Solstice to the friends of Iris X Readings. Today, I am working with the Raven's Dream Tarot by MJ Cullinane. Ravens are often pictured in art with the Moon, but they are truly solar creatures. They wake up moments before the Sun every day, and start singing their song. While their song is a bit different than most songbirds, Ravens are considered a songbird! The sun comes up, and they sing. May the Sun bless you and yours. The Wheel of Fortune starts the reading, and the Wheel is spinning. If you look at this card, there is a large Hare spinning the Wheel and an unkindness of Ravens flying about. This card is a reminder that there is something larger than us that controls the winds of fate. We are only one piece of a larger picture. If this is your reading, you may be seeing things from your perspective, but there is a bigger story that is happening. There are factors that are unseen, and there are layers that go past what you understand. Something important is happening if the Wheel starts the reading. And we never know if it is 'good' or 'bad' until we see what comes up next.
The Ace of Pentacles appears next, showing an opportunity that is going to be successful. When the Wheel spins you to the Ace, something good is about to happen. You will have something that comes up that points you down a path that you should follow. If you have been waiting to hear about something and how it will go, the Ace of Pentacles spins you to the answer of 'yes.' Something very good is coming up for you. Keep your eyes open and see what appears in front of you- and then run with it.
The Three of Wands is a card that shows you sending something out, and waiting to hear back. If this is your reading, you have put an idea out into the world- and now all you can do is let it go and wait to see what happens. The Ace gives some assurance that your ideas and thoughts will be well received. It is still challenging to wait and let everything play out as it will. Be confident, bold and unafraid- you have a spark about you that is helping to transform your life into what you want it to be. Don't be afraid to stand up and be heard- take on the role of the Queen. It is well deserved.
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you have been planning something for a long time. You got to the place where you had to put it out into the world and see what the response would be. And you have been waiting, and trying to let it go and be calm. You feel like you are in control of the situation, but really- there are larger forces of fate at play here. The wheel is spinning and the fateful powers are in control. You are nervous- you don't know if you will find yourself at the top or bottom of the Wheel. But it appears that a very tangible opportunity to move forward is going to be handed to you. It could be anything from finances to make your dreams manifest, to an opportunity to take your plans and make them happen. You will be successful if you take this opportunity, and will find yourself in the Queen position. Have some confidence, you may not know it- but you already hold the Wand with you. And now, you will be handed an Ace to bring it all down to earth and manifest what you have been working on. It looks to me like the thing that you have been waiting to hear about goes quite well. You put your ideas out into the world, and now the Wheel is spinning and you are handed an Ace. Run with it and be the Queen of Wands and fire.
