Iris X Reading of the Week/Week beginning on 6/1/26:

This week's reading was done on The Paulina Tarot, a deck I have been working with for many years. Paulina Cassidy is the artist, and she has created some of my most favorite whimsical Tarot decks. I shuffled the cards and asked for a reading for someone who will see this post. Read on and see if it's for you or someone that you know. Happy June!

This reading begins with the Page of Pentacles; a messenger of the future who shows the path moving forward. This Page tends to focus on matters of prosperity and success, and can show something very new in its beginning stages. I pulled another card to get a feeling for the message that the Page is sharing, and got the VI of Cups. If this is your reading, you are crossing the bridge into the next stage of life. This is a card of rite of passage, and determining what you will take with you and what you will leave behind. It is a card of growth and evolution, and you should be proud of yourself for getting to where you are now.

The Hierophant is next, and is a card of traditions and beliefs. It is a card about what you believe in and trust to be true. With this card as the Major mystery card of the reading, you are being put in a position that will make you define your own beliefs and thoughts. Sometimes the work of the Hierophant is to break old traditions to create something new that makes sense for you. You will be looking at what is right and wrong, and determining the best way to live in this world. You are handed the key on the other side of the bridge.

The Six of Pentacles is next, showing you in a position of give and take. You will be looking at what you put out and how much you are given back. This is also a card of asking for help from people who may be able to support you. There may be a favor coming your way from a person in authority. You are in a position of receiving help at this time, and you will soon have the opportunity to return the favor to others.

The key to this reading is the Knight of Pentacles. Sometimes, progress doesn't look like leaps and bounds. There are times that it moves very slowly but surely. The Knight of Pentacles is a practical card, showing you following the well worn path and growing from the Page of the beginning of the reading to the Knight where you are able to begin to move forward. It won't always be as fast as you would like it to be, and there may be times that you feel like you are standing still. But if you continue to take steps forward, you will win the race.

Here's what I see. If this is your reading, your whole life is changing. You are walking across the bridge into the next stage of your life. As you cross the bridge and decide what to take with you into your future life, you are given a key to figure out what you believe and how you want to live in the world. You are growing and changing and the key will help you unlock mysteries and find your way. When you are offered help, it will be wise to accept it and then you can switch and return that help at other times. You may feel like you are moving slowly, but you are doing exactly what you need to do in order to accomplish your goals. Slow and steady wins the race. Take one step at a time, accept the help that comes your way and figure out your path. This time period will have the constant theme of figuring out who you are and how you are fitting into the world. You have the cups from your past to build a foundation with, the key to open up the doors you need to get through, help when you need it and a guarantee that if you keep moving forward, you will stay upright and get where you are going.
