Iris X Reading of the Week/Week beginning on 5/25/26:

Every week, I shuffle the cards and ask for a reading for someone that will see this post. This particular reading is interesting.. it appears to be advice for a person who is spiritual or learning something new. There's one card telling the person what they should do to be successful, and the rest focus on these major forces converging at once in their life. I never know who these readings are for until I post them. Read on- see if this one is for you. I used the Visconti Sforza Tarot, one of my favorites.

The reading begins with The Hierophant. This is a card of tradition and belief, and if this is your reading you are likely a spiritual person. You have done a lot of work to reach the place of understanding and wisdom that you have now. You are in a position where your knowledge and skills may help unlock doors for other people. You may have something important to teach and to share with the world. There is something that has expanded your world view and opened your eyes, and you feel like you want to share it. On a more personal note, this card would tell you that a daily practice or ritual may help balance your life. Traditions are important to maintain, and bring a lot of meaning to our lives.

Temperance appears next. Where the Hierophant can be structured and planned, Temperance goes with the flow. With this card, it is best to hold everything lightly. Mix up a few things; opposite as they may be. You don't have to do One thing to be successful, and many of us are better when we don't do any one thing too much. Stay calm and in balance. Don't let life drag you around too much. Stay in motion and find your own way of being mellow. Mix up various paths to find your way and don't get pulled to extremes.

The Sun appears next asking you- what are the things that make you feel alive, well and happy? The Sun is our energy source, and it is important to maintain and grow your power and health. The Sun calls you out to take walks and adventures. Make sure you are having fun and enjoying what you do. Do things that make you feel good. Take care of your health and eat well. Get fresh air and sunshine every day. Know where your power is coming from.

The key to this reading is the only Minor arcana card and shows you what to do. With the IX of Pentacles key, the best thing you can do is lay low a bit. Spend some time off to yourself, doing your own thing. Putter about, getting projects done. Spend time in your garden and take walks. Spend time with your animal companions, domestic or wild. Make sure that you have time off, and that you are not working all of the time. Save your money as much as you can, and enjoy quiet reflective time. This is a card of prosperity, success and wellness.

Here's what I see. If this is your reading, it is important for you to have some peace right now. You have a lot to get done and you are in a pivotal stage of your life where everything is changing. You will have to create new traditions to maintain so that you start to grow your new path and life. You may have wisdom to pass down to others along the way. It is important to not go to extremes and to be calm and in balance. You shouldn't do just one thing at a time because you are a master of mixing up a bunch of tasks successfully. Spend as much time enjoying your life as you do working.. ideally more. Maintain spiritual practices and look for keys along the way. Be serious but also have a sense of humor and the flexibility to take adventures. Take care of your health and find where your energy comes from and grow it. This reading tells you to lay a bit low right now to process through a lot of change in your life and the world around you. Getting your feet back on the ground and taking walks will be some of the best things you can do. These are good and successful cards, but you are managing a lot! Stay mellow and enjoy the Spring.
