Iris X Reading of the Week/Week beginning on 5/18/25:

Greetings to the friends of Iris X Readings! This week's reading was done on one of my favorite Tarot decks- The Raven's Dream Tarot. Anyone that knows me knows that I love Corvids, but I also love how this deck looks. The colors and symbolism are rich and deep. Visually speaking, it's one of the most beautiful Tarot decks I own. The reading begins with The Magician- and this is a powerful place to begin the reading. If this is your reading, you are in a position of power. Things are starting to move forward in your life. It has taken all of your willpower, perseverance and cunning to make it happen. You can see in your mind what you want to have happen in your life, and have not been willing to accept any other way. Things are finally moving ahead due to the actions you have made.


The VIII of Pentacles is a card about repetition and skill building. What you are accomplishing has been done by developing your skills and staying focused. You have done the same thing over and over again until you reached your goal. Again, this speaks to your willpower and willingness to put things into action to make them manifest. You are a hard worker, and you are really good at what you do. This didn't come easily- it came with repetition.

The Moon appears next, showing the cycle and pattern that your life is woven into. There are larger forces at work here, and you have been able to follow the patterns and your own intuition to find your way. There are times when you feel very unsure about your future, and other times that you can see it all with clarity. Sometimes the Moon is full and sometimes it is dark. You are learning to navigate through the cycles and patterns.

The Ace of pentacles is the key in this reading, and it shows an opportunity that you are going to want to take. This is something that will likely lead to hard work, but you will accomplish the goals that you have been focusing on. This should all happen quite soon. The work and time that you have been putting into your life is about to make a difference. An opportunity will be handed to you. It will be up to you to take it and run with it.

Here's what I see. The two minor arcana cards in this reading show what you have had to do in the physical world to make your goals manifest. You have been working hard, perfecting your skills and getting better at what you do. You have focused and done one thing at a time over and over again until you get to a place of mastery. This is going to be what gives you the opportunity that is represented by the Ace. You have been working with the major forces of Magic and willpower and following your instincts and your dreams. You have done a really good job, and this is what is leading to the opportunities that are coming your way. Your goals are within reach, and this is because of the work that you have done. Make sure you take the Ace of pentacles when it comes your way, it is going to help you,  and it is a much deserved opportunity that has come out of your own hard work.
