Iris X Reading of the Week/Week beginning on 4/1/24:

Happy All Fool's Day to the friends of Iris X! The Fool is one of my favorite cards in the Tarot deck. There is a lot of freedom in formlessness. He skips off on his way- wise or not, it doesn't matter! He is off on an adventure, and will learn along the way. Better than never going anywhere at all! This week's reading was done on The Wildwood Tarot. It is for someone that needs to know that they are healing- that things are going to get better.

The reading begins with a Lynx who has a message. The Page of Stones often comes up when a person needs to know something about their future. I pulled another card so that we could hear the Lynx's message, and got the Pole Star. If this is your reading- you will feel better. It may not be right now, but it's not as far off as you think. You will find your direction again, and you will feel well and balanced. You will be inspired and creative- and able to channel it well. The Muses will be speaking to you; and you will be listening. Keep walking- you are going to find your way. Hang in there.

Eight of Stones appears next to tell you to focus your energy. Work on a skill or craft to keep yourself grounded. Do one thing at a time. Try to finish what you start, and repeat actions until you perfect them. There is a certain peace to this kind of focus, and it will help you to feel rooted to the ground while you wait for the Star to guide you.

The IV of Arrows comes up next. Sometimes, you have to slow down and rest. There are times when there is so much going on inside that we can't keep moving forward in the outside world like nothing is happening. It's ok to be still and to protect yourself. Rest and recovery matter. The butterfly looms overhead, and there is a change that will happen. In the meantime, rest. But- know when it's time to move from the spot that you are in.

The key to the reading is the IV of Bows. This is a card of celebration and happiness. Don't forget to spend time with the people in your life. Gather with a few friends to laugh and talk about plans. Join forces with other people to learn skills or to go on adventures. Have a fire and invite friends over to visit. Lean on community and like minded people while you wait for your star.

Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you really need to hear that you will not always feel like you do now. You have been feeling lost, and like the star that orients you has vanished from your sky. This is temporary- your focus and balance will return. The best thing that you can do right now is find something to focus on. Work on a craft that you love. Create something new. Learn a new language or read a book. All of these things will anchor you. You Need the break that you are taking right now, and when you see your star again, you will know it is time to move forward. Focus on your skills and spend time with people that you feel comfortable and happy with. The Pole Star will return, and you will know which way to walk.
