Iris X Reading of the Week/Week beginning on 4/27/26:
Greetings to the friends of Iris X Readings! This week, I am working with The Wildwood Tarot- a favorite of mine. It is one of those Tarot decks that is a world unto itself. If I try too hard to make it 'fit' with traditional meanings, it remains uniquely its own. They have always spoken to me on a deep soul level, and so.. I shuffled the cards and asked for them to speak to someone who will read this post. Maybe it will be for one particular person out there; or it may be for a bunch. Read on and see if it's for you.
The reading begins with The Stag, which represents Justice in this deck. This is a card of power and accountability. When we see this card, there is something that is meant to be which will happen. The scales go back into balance, and the truth is known and understood. If this is your reading, there is something in your life that has been unfair and out of balance with the way that things are meant to be. The universe is self correcting, and you will soon feel the circumstances of your life return to a place of balance and justice.
The Seer is the High Priestess, and represents a gate to walk through, or a vision of the future. With this card, it is important to find silence and meditation. There may be something that is trying to get your attention or get through to you. There is a door that is opening, and you will find it through silence, peace, and intuition. You are at an important space in your life where you are able to get a clear glimpse of the past, present and where you are heading in the future. You need some silence.
The Forest Lovers appears next, showing a connection that you have been seeking. It could even be yourself that you are connecting with and understanding. The Lovers is a card of choice and passion, and when you see it in a reading, the matter at hand is one of relationship and understanding. The question becomes- what do you choose? It appears that you are coming up to a place where the choice that you will make will have a big effect on the rest of your life. The path you are on may be taking a turn based on what you care about the most.
The key to this reading is the Eight of Vessels/Cups, known in this deck as Rebirth. There is something that you are meant to figure out and see with clarity. There are answers that you can't find through other people- you have to look inside. This is the only Minor arcana card of the reading, so it shows what you have to Do. Some time to yourself to put your thoughts together would be good for you. If you have been feeling lost, you may have your own answers if you know where and how to look. The key is to take some space to yourself- a door may present itself.
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, there is a door for you to walk through. It will change what is happening in your life, and can only be found by following your intuition and instincts. There are things that have been out of balance and unfair that will be resolving and moving back into a position of balance. It leads to an opportunity in understanding yourself and making the choices that you need to make in your life. All you have to do is to be the Seer, and look for signs that the winds are changing. That is a lot to be working through right now. From Justice and balance to Seership to Relationship and choice- there's a lot that is going on right now. And you have to make choices based on your heart/passion, sense of what is right and your intuition. The only Minor arcana card tells you what you should Do. And that is to take a walk and a break. Get some space from the chaos of life and be alone. There may be something that you are not understanding that you have potential to suddenly understand. You just need a little bit of space and peace and quiet- what you are trying to understand will only be answered through you.
Have a great week, and if you need a reading- send a message to irisxtarot@gmail.com or visit my website irisxtarot.com.
