Good morning to the friends of Iris X Readings! Every week, I shuffle the cards and ask for a message for someone who will read this post. I never know who it will be for until I post it. Sometimes, it's for one person in particular. Other times, it's a crowd! This week's reading was done on The Hush Tarot by Jeremy Hush.
The week begins with the VIII of Pentacles, a card of hard work, skill, and focus. If this is your reading, there is something that you would like to learn or understand. You have a skill or craft that you have been wanting to focus on and perfect. The best thing to do is to focus on just one thing at a time; to start a project and complete it. Pay attention to what you are doing, and repeat it over and over until you have perfected it.
The problem is that this is not how things are going for you. The II of Cups points to relationships that are distracting you from your goals. They are not necessarily negative connections; just people that need a lot from you. And so, you start a project and get interrupted. Someone always needs something; even if it's just attention. Your time feels split up into little segments; constantly punctuated by interruption.
The Knight of Wands wraps up the week showing your moving like Fire. Sometimes, you get a lot done, and other times you get completely distracted from your goal. You get interrupted so many times that you forget to return to what you were working on. Unfinished projects and things to do pile up, and you feel like you can't get anything done.
The key to the week is The World. This is a card of success and completion. About starting a project and coming around full circle to the place where you accomplish your goal. This is a card of finishing something before moving onto the next and of taking a break only when it is time and the tasks have been completed. This will help you to feel more successful and like you can cross things off your list!
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you have something that you are working on. It may even be more than one thing. But every time you start to do something, you get interrupted by well meaning people. It seems like everyone needs your attention, and so you put down what you are doing, and then you become completely distracted. You can't finish a task and so you feel restless and irritable. The best thing that you can do here is to focus on one thing at a time. Quiet your notifications, and check on messages when you have completed what you are working on. That way, you feel like you are successful and accomplishing your goals; and the people that need you get your attention, just on your time.
