Iris X Reading of the Week/Week beginning on 6/9/2025:

Hello to the friends of Iris X Readings! This week's reading was done on The Secret Tarot. This one is pocket sized, which I love. Because I rarely have pockets though- I am going to toss this one in my purse. It had gottenu mixed in with a bunch of decks.. and being small, I have not seen it for a long time. So, I am taking the Secret Tarot out of the shadows! I shuffled the cards and asked for a reading for someone who will see this post. Read on- see if it's for you. 

The reading begins with Justice. If this is your reading, there are scales that need to be set back in balance. Either something unfair happened to you and it requires an action to make it right; or you are internally feeling a sense of imbalance where you are trying to make sense of something. Justice is about the forces of nature. Something set out of balance will eventually find the way back to setting itself right. You may have to be sharp and harsh during this time. Sometimes, the Sword in the other hand of Justice is used to cut away something to make the scales balance again. 

The Hermit appears next. You are on a vision quest of sorts, and the work that you are doing is very personal. You are holding a lantern, only able to light up one step at a time. There is a spiritual element to all of this, and you are seeking to understand something. You may be feeling more isolated and like you want to be by yourself lately. The Hermit advice would be to stay calm and peaceful. Wander the woods and walk by the sea. Find your answers in your travels. 

The Ace of Wands is next, showing an opportunity. This is the only Minor arcana card in the reading. Everything else is a Major arcana card- a big mystery to work with and unravel. The Ace of Wands shows what you have to Do. This is a card of taking an opportunity and working with it. You have something that is being offered to you, and you have to take it and follow it. This is the suit of Fire, so it will transform something  major in your life. All you have to do is to take the opportunity that presents itself and run with it. 

The key to this reading is The Star. This is the card of healing and peace. It is about finding your creativity and energy after a challenging time. The Star comes after some of the hardest cards in the Tarot deck. It is the soft landing on the other side of a lot of difficulty. If something has frozen up in you, expect it to thaw out and move again. After a time of stagnancy, you begin to wake up, find your inspiration, and move forward. 

Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you are working through something really big right now. You are on a path of your own trying to rebalance the scales of your life so that you can heal. It is all an opportunity to transform something in your life. It may not be easy, and it may feel like a long walk. Try to look at parts and pieces of your experience up close instead of trying to process the big picture all at once. If you have been feeling worn out, this is how you will find your spark and power again. Something is moving in you, so don't be surprised if your emotions feel a bit up and down during this time. You are in the process of healing something that needs to be reset in your life. After this happens, your vision and focus will clear up. You will feel creative and inspired again, like you are back in your own shoes. It may be challenging- and you should absolutely take up the lantern of The Hermit and take a step forward.
