Iris X Reading of the Week/Week beginning on 6/16/25:

This week's reading was done on a deck very close to my heart. The Wayfarer Tarot is a co creation of mine and Margaret Shipman's. It is my 'go to' deck for daily readings and my favorite when I need a very clear answer. I am trying to finish up a number of tasks right now- spell candles and incenses, warding powder, potions.... and I need a fast and clear Iris X reading this week. So, I picked up The Wayfarer Tarot and asked for a reading for someone who will see this post. Read on and see if it's speaking to you!

The II of Swords starts the reading as a card of pause and truce. Currently, nothing is shifting or changing fast if this is your reading. You may feel as though things have paused altogether. You are not sure of what happens next or what you should do. Use this down time well and focus on looking on the inside to find your way. Take a breath, meditate, eat well and stay hydrated. This is a time of momentary silence- take a break! You will need it.

The Hanged Man appears next with another message of pause. This is a card of suspension. You are up against the tower in this card, and you have a choice to make. Things cannot continue the way that they have been going, and it is time to look at things from a different perspective. Perhaps the way forward is a third path that has not yet been revealed, so don't feel like you have to rush to make a decision to go left or right. Look at things from a different perspective. Things will be clear soon, and you will know what direction to take next.

The VIII of Water/Cups appears next, showing a time to walk away from the crowd to find your own power and answers. Wander the shores or take a walk in the woods. Sometimes, things become more clear with less stimulation around you. There is something that you are trying to figure out, and you feel like you keep missing something. A walk would do you some good. You will come back with something to share.

The key to this reading is Judgment. This is a card of clarity and wise choices. With Judgement, you use the past and present to come up with a plan for the future. You will feel clear and focused and ready to move forward. This is a card of vocation and knowing where you fit into the larger scheme of things. You will wake up and feel 'reborn', knowing exactly what you should do next.

Here's what I see. This is an interesting reading. The first two cards speak of a pause where it is time to recover and come up with the next plan. There is a feeling of being in-between, and not knowing the best way to move forward. You may feel clouded and confused, like it is hard to see the larger picture. It is important to know that this time of pause is temporary, and you will soon see the situation with clarity. Instead of trying to force that right now, it is good to take a break. Look at things from a different perspective. Turn it all upside down and see if you can make sense of it. There is no need to rush or move quickly. It is more important that you feel clear when you move forward. The best thing that you could do is to take a walk. Spend some time alone in the woods. Go camping by yourself. If you sit in silence and do not push a way, the path forward will appear. You are not lost. You will know what to do next very soon. In the meantime, taking a break will be good for you. Things will get busy again very soon, and you will be rested and ready.

If you need a reading this week, send a message to irisxtarot@gmail.com. My website is in the process of shifting to a new platform, but you will still be able to find it at the same address. Irisxtarot.com. Have a great week!
