Good Morning and Happy Moon day to the friends of Iris X Readings! This week's reading was done on my favorite- The Wayfarer Tarot, a deck co created by myself and Margaret Shipman. I shuffled the deck and asked for a reading for a person who will read this post. Feel free to share to make sure that the person that is meant to read this message sees it!
The week begins with Death; and while this is a beautiful version of the card- the experience of Death is completely jarring. If this is your reading, your life is going through a major transition. Things will not look the same after this time period and you are leaving your past behind. It may be time to 'move on', but that is easier said than done. You are still in the middle of the loss, and wondering what will come next. The seeds blow into the wind, and there is much more that will grow. But for now, the focus is on the flower that is passing.
The Knight of Water appears next, showing a feeling of formlessness. Water takes on the form of any container that it is presented with, and for now- you are without a container. You are free and formless, and can go anywhere that you want. But you are not so sure where to go. Approaching every day with a feeling of curiosity and adventure will get you through, but you are still feeling confused by not having a 'plan.'
The Moon wraps up the week with a feeling of confusion, or not knowing what to expect. The Moon changes and shifts every day, and for now- so do you. There is a discernible pattern to the Moon, but if you are not paying attention it may feel like chaos. You feel like you don't know what is going to happen, and you don't really know how to put your feet on the ground. Everything feels like it changes by the day. You may be feeling anxious or formless; wishing you knew what was going to happen.
The key to the wek is the Ace of Fire. It may not feel like it right now, but you are being given an opportunity to change your life. Right now, everything feels like it is under external control. But once you find the ground under you, you will realize that you can take this change and make it work for you to better your life. Pay attention to your ideas and inspirations- the Ace of Fire is often about thoughts that seem to come out 'out of nowhere.' Be willing to take a chance.
Here is what I see. If this is your reading, you don't know what you are going to do. You are in the middle of a serious change. You are focused on the past and wondering what happened. When you look into the future, you have no idea what to do. You can do anything that you want now and go anywhere you wish. But you don't know where to go. For now, the best thing that you can do is to be the Knight of Water- be free and formless. Don't try to plan too far into the long term future. Follow your ideas, your passions, and your inspirations. Let every day be what it is. Pay attention to your own mind- you may have a sudden idea that will help make this change for the better. You are going to make it through this.
