This week's reading was done on The Enchanted Tarot by Amy Zerner. This is actually one of my first Tarot decks. The cards look like amazing woven quilts or tapestries. I shuffled the cards and asked for a reading for someone who will see this post. I never know who it is for, so please feel share to get the message out to whoever needs to hear it. This reading is most certainly for a spiritual person who is needing balance. Read on- see if it's for you.
The reading begins with The Hermit. If this is your reading, you may feel isolated right now. Your instinct is to stay still and quiet. You are reading books and taking walks- trying to find the mystical woven into the mundane. You are keeping your head down, looking at the next step ahead of you trying to stay grounded and see the details of the world around you. You crave silence and peace, and you need it to stay well and calm right now.
The King of Wands appears next, showing another side of your life. This is the side that has to be out in the world making things happen. You have a lot to manage and keep balanced right now. You may have work that pushes you to use your creative skills in the larger world. You have a lot to share, and you may be working on how to do that in a way that allows you to be the hermit too. The King of Wands manages fire and makes things happen in the world. If this is your reading, you are innovative and creative. You have something to share that the world needs.
Justice appears next showing a need for the scales to stay in balance. You have to stay centered with an eye on balance and justice. Your focus is on equity and fairness. On a personal level, you have to make sure that you stay in a state of equilibrium. It can be a delicate thing to make sure that you are giving enough time to yourself and your own needs as you advocate for the world around you. It is important to stay true to your word and hold yourself accountable for what you do or don't do. Justice is a constant state of equilibrium allowing you to focus, stand up, draw boundaries and to be clear.
The key to this reading is The High Priestess. It is often said that she sits in a place of peace in the middle of opposing forces. She is the calm in the storm, showing a doorway to something different. If this is your reading, it is important to use your intuition and discernment. If you can, stay a bit 'stepped back' so that you are seeing things from an outside perspective where you can sense the larger picture. Follow your instincts, but don't get pulled to the extremes. Stay centered, balanced, calm and aware.
Here's what I see. This reading is for someone who stays quiet and off to themselves, feeling like it is more important to advance from a spiritual or mystical level than to be seen and heard. You may feel like going into your cave more and more as the Hermit- but there is something that you are meant to share with the world. As the King, there is always something to do. You can't stay quiet and still right now, much as you wish you could. There is a need to balance out your life a bit between productivity and peace. Stillness is very important right now, and you may find that you get clear insights on your life when you are quiet right now. Pay attention and be aware, but don't get pulled into the fray. Take a step back and get some perspective. Your focus should be balanced between the spiritual and the mundane. You have to work and make things happen in the world. But you also need to wander in the woods, sit in silence, and read books. It will make you better able to stand up and demand Justice- both in your personal life and the world around you. Your scales have to be in balance if you are to have a stabilizing effect on the world around you. Start in the center, stay calm, and then reach out to the larger world. Be aware of the world around you and listen more than you speak.
