Iris X Reading of the Week/Week beginning on 2.13.23:

This week's reading was done on The Brady Tarot- a gorgeous deck with 78 hand-colored linocuts created by Emi Brady. I love the feeling of this deck, and if you purchase it directly from the artist, portions of deck proceeds are donated to the Indigenous Environmental Network, Earthjustice, and the Lakota Way Healing Center. I shuffled this deck and asked for a reading for someone who will read this post. I never know who it will be for until I post it. Read on, see if it's for you!

The High Priestess begins the reading with a threshold to cross. If this is your reading, it is time to follow your intuition and pay attention to the signs and omens around you. Be as silent as an Owl this week. Listen more than you speak, and don't miss a trick. There may be something that you have a 'feeling' about. Follow your gut this week, and make sure you notice what is happening around you.

The Ace of Pentacles (1 of Roots in this deck!) appears next as an opportunity. You have a chance to grow something right now, and put roots into the ground. It is only an opportunity, and if you do not work with it, it will move onto someone else. There is something that you are meant to do right now, and you are being handed what you need to put your roots into the ground. In this deck, the key word for this card is Enchantment. Your opportunity may come by way of curiosity, and following the things that get your attention and enchant you.

The IX of Pentacles (9 of Roots) shows the accomplishment and success that comes from running with the opportunity that you are handed. You work very well independently- and you are one of those rare people that enjoys working. You don't tend to sit down, and will spend your days off puttering about accomplishing random projects in peace. You have a great opportunity to be prosperous in your ventures right now!

The Magician is the key to the week. The time for pondering what you will do next is coming to an end. It is time to Act. You have everything that you need right now to accomplish your goals. You have a wise and cunning mind, and like the Raven- you can solve any puzzle. It is perfect timing to put your ideas and thoughts into action- and make things happen.

There is something that is going to get your attention and enchant you.
