As we are moving into the darkest season, I have chosen the Black Tarot to do this week's reading on. Darkness and shadows are often looked upon as something that has to be sent away or banished. As it gets darker day by day, I really do appreciate the peace of the darkness. I see the dark as a place to rest and recover. Similar to a cave that you can hide in until you can breathe again. I don't see it as something to banish as much as something to integrate. I shuffled the cards and asked for a reading for someone who will see this post. Read on and see if it's for you. It is for a person that is being manipulated and needs to stand their ground.Â
The reading begins with the Seven of Swords. If this is your reading, there is something that is going on behind your back. There is someone that is trying to manipulate you from behind the scenes. They have the feeling of being a puppet master, and they may be trying to control your emotions or your reactions. Pay close attention right now- things are not always as they seem.Â
The Emperor appears next, showing a person that is maintaining control of a situation. If it is someone else that is in control, it may be time to switch positions with them. You have to stay grounded and balanced so that you can reliably plan for your long term future without anyone else interfering. Stand up and take control in your life- especially if someone else is an authority.Â
Death wraps up the trio with a time of major change and transition. Things may not go how you had planned for them to go, and it will be time to change the path that you are on. Death is not an easy card, and you will feel like part of yourself is coming to an end. You choose to walk away and this changes your life and your path.Â
The key to this reading is the Queen of Spheres. You have to stay rooted in your own reality. Don't let anyone speak for you or your future. Put your feet on the ground and take a deep breath. Spend some time alone or connecting with nature. Make decisions from a place of stillness and stability, and don't let anyone tell you what to do. Stand your ground and be firm like the earth.Â
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, there is someone who is trying to take control of your life. They are making plans for you and expecting you to comply with them. Sometimes they do it as the Emperor in an outward kind of manner. Other times it is behind the scenes manipulation as in the Seven of Swords. It will come at you from all angles until you put your foot down and refuse to deal with it any longer. Death is an important card in this reading. You draw a line and you do not let anyone cross it again. A new era begins and things look completely different. In this reading, there is change that needs to happen if you are to regain control of your life and the path that you are on. What you have to do is to know yourself. Stand firm in your own truth. Don't let anyone change the way that you think or live in this world without very good reason. Remain in control of your life. So much so that there is no room for anyone to pull your strings and manipulate you. They will know that it will not work with you. It will not be easy- but making this change in your life will open up opportunities for you to plan for the future. The fact is- you are the Queen of Spheres and you are grounded and stable. Every indication points towards you being stable and in control of your life. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. Stay accountable to yourself and your goals for the future and don't get pushed off track by someone who doesn't have your best interests in mind.Â
