This week's reading was done on Paulina Cassidy's Joie de Vivre Tarot- a favorite of mine to lighten the mood; and in the middle of the stressful holiday season, it feels appropriate! I shuffled the cards and asked for a reading for someone who will read this post. Read on, see if it's for you!
The week begins with Judgment. This is a powerful card of clarity and waking up. If this is your reading, you are coming into a time of awakening. Things that were foggy clear up, and you are able to see the path that you are supposed to take. Judgment is a card of using your wise judgment. Look at what is unfolding in front of you, and try to see your life from a detached and unemotional place. You know which way to go, it is time to trust yourself.
Strength appears next, showing your power and how it is expressed in the world. Do you stay quiet and keep it to yourself or do you yell it out to the world? How do you stay in a centered place between what is gentle and quiet- and what is loud and expressive? Once you find your strengths and skills, the question to answer is - how do you put that out into the world?
The X of Wands appears next, showing that you are pulling a lot of things together right now. You are having realizations, but you are also struggling to get everything done. There are 100 loose ends that you are having to pull together. The X of Wands tells you that you can do it- you've got this. But you feel overwhelmed and exhausted, so it may be hard to notice that you are also successful in your endeavors.
The key to the week is the VIII of Wands. There is something that you don't know yet, and that will change everything for you. This card is often about messages that you are waiting to hear back from. It is about the times when you put out a lot, and then feel like you are waiting to see what will happen. You are in a time of waiting right now, and that is challenging. Things are about to shift and change though. Communication that you have been waiting for comes through, and you are flooded with opportunities after a time delay.
Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you are clear about your path in life and what you are meant to do in the world. You know your strengths and your powers, and you feel like you are ready to put yourself out there. This may be related to your vocation, and you have been working on expanding what you do. But you feel like you are waiting for things to work out, and this makes you feel nervous. It may even make you question your own clarity and path. I wouldn't do that. You are doing a lot of work, and you are more successful than you think. You will be hearing back from some things that you are waiting on, and everything will change quickly. When you are on the path of Judgment, following your Strength- it will work out in the end. Just know that you don't know everything yet- wait for some messages to come through and stay calm.
