Iris X Reading of the Week/Week beginning on 11/29/21:

Happy Moon day to the friends of Iris X Readings! Every week, I shuffle the cards and ask for a reading for someone who will read this post. Sometimes, the reading is for one person in particular, and other times it is for a crowd of people. I never know until I post it. This week's reading was done on the Pamela Colman Smith/Rider Waite Tarot. This particular deck is my first Tarot deck and is very close to my heart.

This week's reading begins with the Queen of Pentacles. In a reading like this, it is a card that pinpoints the person that this reading is for. The Queen of Pentacles is most comfortable in nature. She is grounded and practical. The Pentacles suit is the suit of Work, and the Queen of the suit is the happiest when she is in motion. She always seems to be working on a task or a project, and people know her as being a person with her feet firmly planted on the ground. You are the kind of person that people around you count on for your steadiness. The next few cards show that you are not feeling like yourself lately.

The VII of Cups comes up next, and couldn't be any different from the Queen of Pentacles. This is a card of feeling like you can't put your feet on the ground. Something feels up in the air and like you don't know how it is going to work out. You can see what you want to happen in your life, but you don't really know how to materialize what you are seeing in your mind. You have been feeling 'spacey', and like you can't make sense of things. This is not your normal way, and you are feeling a little bit lost.

The V of Wands shows the reason for this. You have been fighting. Maybe it is with other people and it is definitely with yourself. You may be struggling with people in your life, but the bottom line is that it looks like you have a decision to make. You are not sure what to do, so you have been tossing it back and forth. You are battling with yourself. This is starting to affect your relationships and other areas of your life. You are able to get through this conflict, but it won't be easy.

The key to the week is The World. It is the end of one cycle, and the beginning of something new. This is a card of success and completion. Although it is about endings, it is also about what happens next. It seems that you have been struggling because you are at the end of something that has been very important in your life. You have had one foot in the past, and the other in the future. And now, you are trying to get your feet back on the ground. Something new will begin, but right now it is time to be in the place of endings.

Here's what I see. If this is your reading, you are usually very grounded and practical. You have been feeling completely thrown off lately because you have been fighting with yourself. It seems to me that something is coming to an end in your life, and you are battling it. You feel like your path ahead is no longer clear, and you think you have done something wrong. This said , it does not look like that to me. Your key in this reading is a card of Success. There are big changes coming in your life, and you have been feeling a mixture of lost and unsure of what to do. When a Queen of Pentacles gets the VII of Cups, it is clear that they are not feeling like themselves. It seems that there may be an ending that you are trying to avoid because as the Queen of Pentacles, it is in your nature to fix things. But maybe there is nothing that is wrong per se, and you are just moving onto a new stage of life. Be open to new possibilities and beginnings. You never know what will happen after the World.

If this is your reading, it looks like a bit of a roller coaster, and like things may go differently than you think! If you need a reading this week, send a message to irisxtarot@gmail.com. Have a good week!
